When people view my diary and my microfilm my hope is that they envision themselves taking charge of their lives. By sharing my journey with others who may be struggling with life or health issues, my goal is to expose them to hope, love, optimism and empowerment. I truly believe that seeing yourself positively through the eyes of others is the first step to finding hope, love, optimism and empowerment within. The self management skills that were shared with me by case managers, medical providers and people living with HIV helped me get on the path to empowerment. My diary, microfilm and the privilege of participating in HIV Stops With Me is my way of giving back.
