Do you feel that individuals born during the baby boomer era (1946 – 1964) and even generations before are being forgotten in the fight against HIV/AIDS?

Brandan's Answer

Yes, I do feel like the “older” generations are being forgotten. Attention is being focused on stopping the spread of HIV to the younger generations. You almost never hear of the hardships of older HIV positive people or newly infected 40+ yr olds. By ignoring or forgetting the older generations, we’re giving the virus more “strength” and opportunity than we realize. EVERYONE must be included in HIV/AIDS discussions.
