What was your experience entering the workforce once you were diagnosed with HIV?

Christopher's Answer

First I would say, be careful who you tell your status to. Do not feel pressured to tell anyone you do not want to tell. I was pressured to tell my manager, and I chose not to and am happy with that decision. If your job requires you to disclose your status ask why. The hardest thing for me was mental. Sitting at work knowing I had this disease and having to wait to get treatment and care was the hardest part for me. Remember it’s nobody else’s business, and you do not have to tell anyone you don’t want to.
